Joanne began her music education at a young age of 3. A passionate musician, she gained her Associates Degree at the age of 13 and Licentiate Degree in Piano performance from Trinity College London at the age of 15, both with Distinctions. She was awarded the Kawai Distinguished Student Award, attaining the highest Distinction in South East Asia. While her main instrument is the piano, she also plays the violin and organ and has had several years of flute and clarinet training.
She has performed and given Master Classes in various countries and is currently an active Cantor, Lector, and Chorale member at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She has, since 2016, been studying voice with Barbara Bland at Oakland University.
With over 20 years of experience teaching students from 2-80+ years of age, she is dedicated and passionate about creating well-rounded musicians, prepped to enjoy and share with others, a lifetime of music.
