Mary is a multi-media artist working in Metro-Detroit. She studied drawing and sculpture at Studio Art Center International in Florence Italy and earned her BFA from the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design. While primarily a figure sculptor, her practice ranges from drawing, to painting, to ceramics, to metal work. 

 

She has taught classes and private lessons with students of all ages at Paint Creek Center for the Arts, Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, Stamps School of Art and Design Summer College Prep Program, and led workshops throughout Metro-Detroit. 

 

In addition to her professional practice and teaching, she has served as a juror for numerous art competitions and shows including the Art and Apples Festival in Rochester MI and the Oakland County Art Fair Competition. 

 

Mary is passionate about making beautiful work held to a high standard of craftsmanship and is dedicated to empowering her students to achieve their artistic potential.
